Pedal The Peninsula

What is The Pedal The Peninsula event?

The Pedal The Peninsula Cycle event is a fundraising event jointly promoted by Sliabh Mish Cycling Club and Keel GAA Club. We select different local good causes to support with their fundraising efforts each year and in 2019 we will be donating to Fybough National School. Cyclists can choose between two routes along the Dingle Peninsula. The longer route on the day includes the Conor Pass which is a must for all serious cycling enthusiasts. With the Ring Of Kerry Charity Cycle approaching 2 weeks after our event it is a wonderful opportunity to get that final long spin in to the lungs and legs. Also the scenery along both of the routes is well worth the entry fee itself. You will be well fed and watered and hopefully sun cream will also be necessary.

When and Where

Sunday June 23rd 2019 at Keel GAA Club. Start time 9am and on the day you can choose between two amazing routes (you can click on the routes link to view details). Feed & Water stations will be at Camp Junction and another will be located near Dingle for those completing the longer route.

Registration begins at 7.30am and will cost €20.00 for Cycling Ireland members and €25.00 for non members of Cycling Ireland. Registration can also be completed prior to the event online at this site. Due to insurance restrictions cyclists must be over 16 to participate.

Our by now famous Barbecue will again be available to all who participate in the event so we're looking forward to seeing many returning faces and hopefully some new ones.
